I planted these tomatoes on Sunday. There are three different varieties in case one or two of them don't have a good year. I love fresh grown tomatoes and can't wait for them to grow. This weekend I plan to get some cages to put around them and some tomatoe firtalizer.
What is everybody else growing this summer?

I am gardening vicariously through Jill. She has planted so much yummy stuff and I am going to make sure none of it goes to waste! ;) I am just that good of a friend. ;)
Tomatoes grow so well up there! I remember eating really good beef steak tomatoes in the summer when we were kids. What all is Jill growing?
I have planted tomatos, peppers, watermelong (never done this before), zuccinni, cukes, radishes, carrots, beans, onions, lettuce and spinich. I hope it all grows ;o)
watermelong? how about watermelon?
I am hoping Jill sees lots of produce from her (I mean our) garden. I figure if she keeps up on the weeding and watering really well, now that she did such a good job with the tilling and planting, she (I mean we) should have a really great gerden! ;) I love vicarious gardening, I think I may write a book called "Vicarious Gardening with Ease"... LOL!
I had to replant my tomato it didn't make it. but have nice garden of items going this year. its been fun. don't forget the romas. I use them for my salsa.
I just got all my things planted this weekend. I'm so excited! I have tomatos, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, radishes, carrots, basil, cilantro, sugar snap peas, onions and those little watermelons. I'm like Jill, I really hope it all grows!
